Meet our Leadership

Eileen is the CEO of Linkit Sustainability Initiative. She is a seasoned sustainability expert with a unique approach. With over 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors, she provides strategic sustainability guidance to boards, senior leaders, and executive teams. Her distinctive focus is on creating awareness, building capacity, and integrating sustainability and ESG principles into organizations' core business operations. Her efforts have led to a significant advancement of the ESG agenda. She holds a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Wales and CPD certifications in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge and The Imperial Sustainability Leadership program from Imperial College London. She is a board member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF-Uganda Charter Chapter, The League of East African Directors (LEAD), and belongs to The Learning and Performance Institute -UK, as a TPMA-certified trainer and facilitator. Eileen has served in different capacities at the British Council Uganda, Barclays Bank Uganda, now ABSA, and the International Finance Corporation-World Bank. She has supported several SMEs through the International Finance Corporation (IFC-World Bank) by offering both business advisory and access to finance services, increasing their knowledge of running efficient and sustainable businesses. Eileen has trained and guided Boards and EXCO teams in several institutions on Sustainability and ESG for example, ABACUS Pharma, MTN MoMo, NDA-National Drug Authority, National Medical Stores, NARGRIC&DB, Stanbic Bank Uganda Leaders, Post Bank Uganda, Kampala Associated Advocates -KAA partners and several others, in understanding the intricacies of sustainable practices, including environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and effective governance and ESG. As part of her Executive coaching practice, Eileen uses an integrated coaching methodology involving systemic team coaching that supports leaders championing the sustainability transition process to shift their mindsets and cause a ripple effect for themselves and the teams they lead in seamlessly mainstreaming sustainability within their organizations. Eileen's professional journey has spanned across Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, and even remotely to the DRC Congo, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Tanzania. This extensive international exposure has broadened her horizons and honed her passion and creativity in inspiring individuals and organizations to develop solid, resilient mindsets. Her belief in their self-worth and contribution to the world is a driving force in her work.
